Matthew here, I just thought you should know. There's a male vampire around town. Apparently he enjoys playing mind games and takes some sort of sick pleasure in harassing Slayers. Jo was on the recieving end this time around but I thought you should know.

If you see or hear anything, please let me know and take care of yourself.

I'd hate to have to try and kick your ass for getting hurt. And on that note, I think we're overdue for a training session so get back to me, alright?

Finally, all those things are done and my mind feels better. Less fogged up.

I should get ready for yet another long shift at the bar but who am I to complain? It pays my way in this world.

Not getting along with the council means I get very little for being a Watcher but it's not about the money.

It never was.

I'm going to take a shower but why I bother, I do not know. I'll come back smelling like cigarettes and smoke, it's always the way.

Rhiannon felt the cell phone buzz in her pocket. She pulled it out and flipped it open, noting that she'd missed a call. Rhiannon dialed her voicemail and listened carefully, keeping her eyes on the vampire in front of her. Her gaze dropped for a moment as she heard the description Matthew gave her, and a knot of tension formed in her stomach. After a moment, she took a breath and dialed the number. Matthew must have been at the bar, because he didn't answer.

"Hey, it's Rhiannon. I just got your voicemail. I didn't even notice the phone ring. Then again, I spent the last 45 minutes chasing down a vampire and dragging him into a shack for questioning. More on that later.

...The vampire you mentioned... Is it the same one that attacked her in The Lighthouse? I... you know what, I'll just talk to you about that later. There's a pair of yellow eyes staring me down at the moment. Bye, Matthew."
