Jo parked her truck directly outside the bar with a faint smirk and walked inside. She knew the bar tender, a few of the regulars and she sent nods of greeting around as she ordered a beer and took a table for herself and what would soon be her company. It was nice to frequent a place where you didn't have to pay some careless kid to park for you, or park in the back forty of some massive lot and walk a mile to get to the door. She appreciated that a lot. She took a couple sips from her bottle and laid her cigarettes and lighter on the scarred wood of the table next to the chipped glass ashtray. Purity soon followed. Driving for once, in her very own car. The one that Victoria recently got her for turning the woman back after she accidentally wound up as a little black cat. The witch parked and walked into the bar. Many eyes all landing on her because she was a stranger. Some muttered words followed her about "townsfolk" but she completely ignored them in favour of the bar. Ordering a Southern Comfort she turned around, elbows landing softly on the wooden counter as her gaze travelled around. Finding Jo with a half grin, she pushed off the counter and made her way across to the table. "Well hey." It was said in that usual low smoky tone as she slid into the opposite chair from the Slayer. "Nice place." The witch meant it. Jo was comfortably slouched in her chair, half watching the flickering TV over the bar as it showed the news and weather. All the talk was of elections and strange flickers or random appearances or disappearances. She straightened up and greeted Purity with a smile when she came over, bottle raised in a casual toast, "Hi there, thank you." She laughed softly as she watched the other woman slide into the chair opposite.

( Different Strengths ) Looking at Jo, the witch gave a soft grin. "I'm afraid it's time for this girl to take her ass home, but I will swing by The Lighthouse sometime this week." And the occult book shop, for that matter. Jo flushed slightly at the appreciative look on Purity's face at the mention of their activities that night and smiled too. She still felt a little awkward about it, but at least she didn't feel so horribly guilty anymore. "It is nice, yes." She stood up and collected her cigarettes and lighter from the table and came around. "Thank you for coming out to meet me, it was nice to hang out like this." She was within arm's reach, but she didn't offer any physical contact. It wasn't really her style to initiate it, but she did give a broad smile. "I'll save a bar stool for you, get yourself home in one piece alright?" The blush was noted and Purity chuckled quietly. Some girls were just fun to fluster. "I would hope so, otherwise you'd need a career change." Who wanted to work a job they hated? Seemed far too stupid to even consider, yet most of the population did. "Yeah it was pretty cool. Thanks for inviting me." Like Jo, Purity likewise didn't often initiate any physical contact. Unless it was violence against someone pissing her off. Which Jo witnessed the first time they met. Woops. The witch nodded with a grin. "Of course, you do the same, Jo."
