The little café was quiet. She'd taken a seat outside where the sunshine was happily warming her skin. It had been a day or so since she'd taken any vampiric blood. However, it didn't ever take away her own appetite for normal food. Though of course she tended to stay away from anything garlic or garlic related. It could stay in her system and she could forget... Trouble would then of course ensue. It wasn't pleasant. Hands were clasped on her lap. Nothing had been ordered and she'd wait until Kael arrived to get anything. The table cloth was plane white and seemed to go nice with her white shirt and cream skirt. Not exactly more formal than when they'd first met so much as comfortable without getting lots of unwanted attention.
After speaking with Reverie on the phone, Kael had taken a shower and combed his hair back into semblance of order as well as removed excess stubble from his cheeks. Even though they had met and seemed to get along, this meeting was business related so he was trying to look his best and going as an unkempt mess didn't seem to be the way to go about it. He had opted for a pair of tan cargo pants and had spent the better part of ten minutes or more cleaning the boots he intended to wear and had shrugged on a white shirt and had buttoned it shut all except for the two buttons at the top. Hands tugged the cuffs of sleeves up to settle around his elbows before he had slipped on his boots and headed out to his car. The trip into Vegas didn't seem to take as long as it usually did and he had found his way to the cafe that Reverie had mentioned with relative ease. His car drew to a stop and Kael tugged his shades off his eyes to tuck them into the parting of his shirt before stepping out of the car. The door was slammed shut and car was alarmed as Kael didn't trust the folk in Vegas all that much. A steady crunching sound echoed after his feet as he took strides towards the restaurant. Kael quickly turned his head to look around for Reverie and sighted her easily enough. Kael settled his weight near the table, "Sorry I took so long." ( Business and Idle Chit Chat )
Reverie gave a slight nod, sitting straighter once more. "Whenever you're ready we can go to teh bank, there is one just down the street." Which was one reason she had picked this particular café. Planning worked wonders when you knew what you were doing.
Kael eyed his own empty plate and then Reverie's and offered a smile, "I think we're about done here." And it wouldn't hurt to stretch his legs, they had been trapped in a car for an hour or more, “Think I could do with stretching my legs."
"In which case on we go." Reverie stood up then, placing a handful of dollars on the table with enough for a nice tip before pushing her chair in and walking out onto the sunny street. She ran her hand through her hair and took a deep breath of fresh air before heading slowly down the street at a nice pace.
