December had finished packing her stuff and was stepping outside for a smoke. She didn't smoke very often, just sometimes, and in her current weird state of affairs, she kind of needed one. She flicked her zippo with the decorative barbed wire design on it, and lit her cig, then blew the smoke out in a long blue breath. She leaned against the building and looked around herself at the vast nothing that was this place.

Jade walked out of his room, locking the door firmly behind him. He pocketed his key and rubbed his neck, not conscious that he was doing so. He glanced around, mentally prepared for trouble. Seeing nothing unusual, he started walking along the concrete path to the parking lot.

December looked up at hearing sound, and her eyes fell on that cute guy she'd seen before out the window. She smiled a little in the dark, wondering if he was going to come nearer.

Jade plodded along, not sure where he was going. He just felt the need to get out of the room and do something. He sighed softly, and as he was about to clear the building, his shoulder hit... a girl. Dark-haired, slim, smoking a cigarette. "Sorry," he said. "Didn't see ya."

She smiled up at him in that slow practiced way that she knew was suggestive. "It's alright." she told him. "Didn't hurt."

Jade flushed red underneath his bruises. He never quite knew how to deal with girls like this. "Good," he muttered. "Wasn't meant to."

Blushing. Well that was cute. She normally saw flushed guys when they gave her a look over and decided they wanted to spend a little grunting time, blushes were a rarity. "You look like you're a little beat up though." she said, reaching up to ever so lightly brush at a bruise on his neck. She wasn't sure if she should do her usual with this one or not. He was hurt...maybe she'd just take enough to stave off the shakes.

Jade flinched at her touch, not really intending to. He stared down at her, wondering what exactly she was after. "Yeah," he said, his Southern drawl pronounced as it sometimes became when he was tired. "Had a rough week."

She noted the flinch and smiled, voice a little bit of a purr. She didn't lay it on as thick as she could, just hinted at it. "Hey, I won't bite." she said. "You look like you could use a drink."

Jade fidgeted, stuffing his one uninjured hand into his pocket. "I guess I could. I'm kinda new in town and I'm not sure where to go to get one."

She laughed. "I'm new to town too, not sure I'm staying, but I think so...cheaper here than in Vegas...I saw a bar somewhere...um..." she looked around, trying to orient herself. "That way." she pointed.

Should he go with her? He didn't typically hang around with seductive strangers. Eh, why the hell not? Not like he had a lot of options. He began walking beside her.

December smiled as he fell in step. She could tell he was a little uncomfortable. Cute. Also...she couldn't put her finger on it but something was kind of...drawing her to him. And not just the idea that she'd get what she needed out of him later. She brushed it off as weirdness that seemed to be going around lately like herpes, and finished her cigarette, flicking it off onto the street when she was done. "So you going to stay around here?" she asked, glancing at him out of the corner of her hazel eyes.
